than any other, makes me admire this man more than I can adequately express. Ezekiel often comes across as a bland, unsympathetic figure without any of the character traits of, say, his contemporary (and mentor?) Jeremiah. But this is too superficial a view. Ezekiel’s greatness emerges in his total, unquestioning willingness to do God’s will—no matter what the cost! He is an example of total consecration to the work of God.
